Scene One:
Above Alice’s Haven Cafe.
Adrian’s Apartment.
Laying in bed, Adrian Stone couldn’t help but think of how perfect everything was. Gail Schmidt was laying on her back with her small, but prominent belly in the air. His body was entangled in hers and his hand, upon her stomach. To think about what they had gone through in the last couple months to be with her in bed, Adrian felt blessed.
“I’m happy.” He spoke, breaking the silence.
PhotobucketHe could feel Gail’s eyes dart to him, a smile evade her lips. “You don’t know how happy I am that we are together again.” She spoke, her voice a harmony to his ears as they began to converse about where their lives were going to take them. “I was thinking.”
“About?”
Gail moved around the bed so they could both be facing each other. “I was thinking that maybe it is time to talk about living arrangements. I mean with the baby a couple months away and we’ve both been staying here all the time. Maybe we should think about living together?”
Adrian pondered the question. “Do you think you’re ready for that?”
She nodded her head.
“Alright, well what do you propose? Because I hate to break it to you, but we can’t live under your father’s roof. I mean on top of the fact that he doesn’t like me very much, there’s not much room over there for all three of us at the moment, you know?”
Gail looked down at her stomach. It was strange to know that she had a baby growing in her, it didn’t feel like last time before she miscarried. This time there was a serenity in it, a silver lining if you will. She smiled and looked back at Adrian. “What if we got our own house?”
“I don’t know Gail, we might not be ready for that.” Adrian remained skeptical. “Why don’t we stay here for a little longer? Kirsten wouldn’t mind if you moved in with me, I’m sure of it. Just until we get on our feet?”
She shrugged, although Gail knew she had nothing to be jealous about there was a part of her that didn’t want to have Adrian connected to Kirsten. Especially after the past they had. “I just want to have something that is ours, for once.”
“We will Gail.” He spoke, embracing her. “We just need to do it right.”
Gail knows that Adrian is right, she knows that they’re not exactly in the financial situation to be buying a home for themselves, but something aches her deep down. She makes a note to call Greta Wilkinson so that she could at least look at houses. For the future.

Scene Two:
505 Auburn Rd., Stone Creek. “Thurlow Cottage”
James & Caitlyn’s Home.

Photobucket“I’m just so happy to have you back.” Caitlyn Thurlow spoke, giving her husband a hug. The moment they touched Caitlyn felt a sense of security wash over her body. She knew that it was him that she was missing for the last couple days.
But she had him back now. “How was everything in Paris?”
“All sorted out.” James replied, a bothered complexion. “Sometimes it’s hard to distinguish business from family. I don’t know how my father was able to run this business accordingly. There are times I don’t think we will survive and other times I feel that we are prospering.”
Caitlyn placed James’ coat in the closet and then turned back to him. “Your father would be proud of the way you are handling everything.”
“Thank you.” James smiled. “How have you been? These last couple days with me being overseas and you returning with Kirsten and her family. I’m sorry we couldn’t do anything romantic while we were in Paris. Maybe when we go next time it’ll be for a better reason.”
“I don’t have to travel anywhere James, as long as I am with you.” She spoke, kissing him deeply. “It was weird being in this house with you gone. I’m used to you being gone in the daytime but at night everything is different.” Her mind flashed back to when Damien visited her.
James watched as her face drained of emotion. “Is everything alright?”
“Yes!” Caitlyn smirked, she sighed. “How about we have dinner just the two of us? I haven’t really been out much other than hanging out with Marina and Lucian the other day. I think it would be a nice treat to welcome you back home.”
“I can’t.” He sighed. “I should be returning to the office soon, after we left for Paris, I left Frank in charge of everything here. I even asked him to postpone his vacation time. I should probably go brief him on everything that happened in Paris and then let him spend time with Deborah.”
“Oh, okay.” Caitlyn replied, less than happy. “I completely understand.”
“We will do something soon, okay? Maybe with all of our friends?”
Caitlyn smiled. “That sounds like a great idea.”

Scene Three:
980 Cutler St., Stone Creek. Faustino Cottages #7
Charlie, Kirsten & Megan’s Home.
PhotobucketOnce they were back in Stone Creek things got back to normal. Charlie walked through the house, buttoning his shirt as he made sure everything was locked before he made his way out for work. Kirsten had already headed out, herself, taking Megan to school in the process.
He thought about how much his family had meant to him. Having Kirsten and Megan had made Charlie appreciate family in a whole separate way than when he grew up. He then thought back to his conversation with his sister Gillian and how persistent she had been.
Grabbing a cup of coffee that Kirsten had left for him, he turned the last of the lights off and headed for the door. He didn’t know how to process Gillian’s request about accepting Damien Crenshaw as part of the family. It all seemed so bizarre. But Gillian had done stranger things.
Charlie almost dropped his coffee when he opened the door to reveal Helen Schmidt on the other side. He hadn’t expected to see his mother-in-law around the house.
“If the coffee won’t kill you, I suppose me scaring you would.” Helen grinned. She insisted that Charlie let her in the house, knowing well enough that he was on his way out. “I wanted to see if Kirsten was still home?” She looked around.
“No, she already headed out Helen, sorry.”
Helen sighed. “Well that means I’d have to go make a trip down to Alice’s Haven Cafe, huh? Between you and I, that part of town just gives me the creeps. It’s like all of your old memories packed into one street.” She shuddered.
Charlie looked at her puzzled. “Not to be rude Helen but why are you here?”
She straightened herself out. “Because Charles I want to reconnect with my daughter and my granddaughter. I’ve missed out a lot in Megan’s life and I want to make amends with Kirsten for the way I’ve treated her.”
“I should have seen that coming.” Charlie scoffed. “I guess this years revelation was make amends with the people you wronged.”
Helen narrowed her eyes, wondering if he was trying to crack a joke at her expense.
“I could have you killed.” Helen frowned, folding her arms.
“That’s not the way to get in Kirsten’s good graces Helen, your daughter has a thing for me.” Charlie quipped with a smart ass grin. Charlie escorted Helen out of the house and locked the door behind the both of them.
“Right.” Helen sighed, “Well then you get to live.”

Scene Four:
2634 W. Parker St., Stone Creek. Callahan Condos #15
Marina, Cassie & Lucian’s Condo.
PhotobucketCassie Lakhani didn’t know what to do. Once her best friend went to work, on most days, Cassie had a routine that she went through. It was normal and everything worked out fine. But she had a paper due that wouldn’t give her much time to focus on the crying baby in the next room.
“Hold on Lucian!” Cassie cried, hurrying to his crib.
He had spent most of the morning asleep in the crib and Cassie was thankful of that. But now he was a mess and she knew that there were things to do. After changing his diaper and setting him back in the crib, Lucian began to cry again which caused her eyes to water up.
“Okay, let me get you a bottle! Maybe you want that?” She had spent most of the morning researching her paper, it was a current event that was due at midnight. Which she didn’t know why her teacher would even think about pushing the deadline up.
It was beyond her.
Coming back into the room with the bottle, she placed it in his mouth and he proceeded to calm down. “Thank you baby Jesus.”
She knew that the bottle would only give her a small amount of extra time to start her essay. It wasn’t that Cassie didn’t think she could finish it on time. Cassie knew that the essay would be a piece of cake to write. Writing was one of her strong suits.
The girl just didn’t want it to be last minute and unorganized. She had thought of calling Caitlyn earlier to see if she could get a couple minutes of silence, but knew that James was getting back into the city today and didn’t want to bother them.
With Clifton being MIA in recent days, she didn’t even bother to call his cell. Then she heard it, Lucian started crying again and Cassie knew she was in for a long day. Halfway to Lucian’s crib the doorbell rang. Cassie darted for the door and answered it. Surprised to see Mac standing there.
“Are you busy?” He asked, holding up food. The wailing of Lucian caught both of them off-guard and Cassie’s tired eyes weren’t able to pretend that she had everything under control. “I can help if you want me to.” Mac offered, coming into the house.
“I’ve tried everything.” Cassie admitted, taking the bag of food Mac brought them. She found some fries in the bag and feasted on them as Mac made his way to Lucian’s crib. She followed him curiously. “I don’t know what else to do, I have to write a paper that is due at midnight.”
Mac smiled, taking Lucian into his arms and tilting the bottle. “I’m the youngest in the family, most of my siblings were having children before I was even born. The crib is nice, but he wont fall asleep unless he feels safe and comfortable.”
Cassie looked on, surprised by this new information. Intrigued with what Mac Kern had to offer.

Scene Five:
980 Cutler St., Stone Creek. Faustino Cottages #10
Natalie & Amanda’s Home.
After having breakfast with her roommate Amanda Tucker, Natalie came home to spend the rest of the day by herself. Ever since she lost her contract because of her scar there wasn’t much that Natalie had done during the day. She was somewhat jealous that Amanda was still able to model.
PhotobucketShe noticed that there was a message on her machine and pressed the PLAY button. Maneuvering through the home at the same time.
“Natalie, this is Helen Schmidt from HEAT Magazine. I know that we left things on a bitter note but I just wanted to extend the olive branch and offer you the job as an assistant within the company. I would hope that you consider the offer and get back to me as soon as possible.” BEEP.
Natalie looked at herself in one of the only mirrors they had left in the house. Amanda had fought Natalie on keeping this one in the hallway. Feeling the burn on her face, she couldn’t help but shed a couple tears. How was she going to get back into modeling?
She only hoped that her father’s political career wasn’t completely ruined. “Natalie, it’s your father. I don’t understand why you never answer your phone. I need you to call me as soon as possible because this information pertains to you. With everything that is going on, it shouldn’t come as a shock to you that I’m dropping out of the election. Just call me back!” BEEP.
The brunette turned towards the answering machine in rage. Her mind couldn’t keep up with its own thoughts as she processed the information. That meant the funding for her surgery probably wouldn’t go through either. She raced to the phone and dialed her father’s number, but then hung-up.
This was something she had to do in person. She had to stop him from making another mistake in her life. Grabbing her car keys, Natalie raced out of the house with the destination being her father’s home.

Scene Six:
Thurlow Lumber Mill Building.
Frank Nelson’s Office.
Photobucket“I thought you needed these.” James Thurlow spoke to his friend who was busy doing his day-to-day proceedings. After his talk with Caitlyn he knew he needed to be in the office and take care of his father’s company. So James interceded Frank’s new secretary and thought he’d bring the paperwork to his friend instead.
“I heard you were getting back in town today.” Frank spoke, grabbing the papers from James and looking them over. “It’s really nice to see you here at the office. I’ve been going through the Thurlow-Jurado Overseas Finances reports and it won’t be a huge blow.”
James looked at Frank. “Well what do you think we should do?”
“We need to cut corners for a little while, there are a few places we can save money on if we act fast enough.” Frank responded, he got from his seat and opened a filing cabinet. “If you want I can go over a couple of these deals we have and re-work them.”
“How about I do that?” James asked, stopping his friend and taking over the files. “You’ve done a lot already Frank why don’t you just go home to Deborah? I’m sure after you do a quick run through of everything that I have to do today then you should go get some rest.”
“I think Deborah would like that.” Frank smiled.
James nodded his head. “How is she doing?”
“Deborah is fine, she has spent most of her free time Skyping the kids.” There was a deep gratefulness in his expressions. “To think, a technology that we’ve always used for business is actually helping keep my marriage together.”
“I’m sorry Frank.” James’ face fell.
Frank shrugged it off. “It’s not your fault. The good news is that we have been doing better. Now about the cut backs, lets get started with the ground level first and work our way up? As I see it, we are putting more money in things that we can cut down on.”
“Alright, lets start there.”

Scene Seven:
Stone Creek.
Somewhere around Now Town.
Photobucket“This is it.” Gail squeals as she marvels at the current house that Greta showed her. When she first gave Greta a call about looking at houses, Gail didn’t think she would find on that she would fall in love with. Stepping into the living room she could imagine her child growing up here.
Greta Wilkinson walked up next to Gail. “This is one of the homes that just entered the market. The family that lived here wanted to move back to Sage Gardens, they just didn’t want to deal with the fast paced life of the city.”
“Well their loss is someone else’s gem.” She replied, her eyes travelled down the hallway to the bedrooms. There were two of them. One would be for their child and the next would be for them. “I think once Adrian see’s this house he would fall for it as well.”
“I wasn’t aware the two of you wanted to own.”
Gail turned to Greta and smiled. “Well we have been thinking about it. I can’t live at my father’s place forever. Especially with Helen always breathing down my neck. I mean we aren’t exactly in the best place financially but I’ve been saving money from my checks and--” Gail sighed. “How are you doing?”
Surprised, Greta looked away. “I’ve been better, I broke-up with Miles. But the world isn’t ending so I am taking it one step at a time. This place Gail, it is remarkable and it could be the beginning of your life with Adrian. I don’t want to push you or anything but this house won’t stay on the market for long.”
“Right.” Gail sighed, she opened up her purse and began digging through it for her cell phone. She knew that it wasn’t part of the plan but she couldn’t let this opportunity pass her by so she needed to call him. “Let me make this one phone call and then we can talk about the paperwork?”
“Really?” Greta asked, surprised.
Gail shook her head. “You said this could be the beginning of my life and with this house I feel like you could be just right about that.” With a half-hearted smile Gail made her way into the kitchen where she dialed the number that would change her life.

Scene Eight:
Sage Gardens.
Alice’s Haven Cafe.
PhotobucketKirsten Sutton took a deep breath as she wondered about the fight that she had with Marina before she left for Paris. It was a debate that she had been having with herself since she arrived back. But she didn’t have the means to actually say anything about it.
She didn’t want to bring up any old feelings. Especially about the fact that she didn’t want to have Cassie take care of Megan. Kirsten didn’t want to hurt the other woman’s feelings. She just didn’t want Megan to be around Clifton Briggs and everything he could have brought in their lives.
“Deep in thought?” Kirsten looked up to see her cousin standing in front of her. “You look like you’re a million miles away.”
“Oh my god!” She screamed in excitement, running around the counter and giving Aidan Jurado a hug. “When did you get into town? Did you come with my dad? Why didn’t you give us a call before hand?!”
Aidan chuckled as he felt Kirsten’s grip get tighter around him in anger that he didn’t inform her that he was coming. “One question at a time is probably best when greeting a person and by the way, I do need oxygen while I answer these questions.”
“Oh.” Kirsten gasped, realizing what she was doing. “I’m just really happy that you are here. So does this mean that you are accepting the offer that Charlie and I told you about? Because he could use someone at the Lakeside Inn to help him.”
“Good, because I want to accept the offer.”
In one moment Kirsten could feel a lot of stress off her shoulders. “I’m really glad that you have come to help Aidan. I’m so sorry about everything that happened in Paris. But I am glad that you are here now. Do you mind if I ask where you are staying?”
“Uncle James said I could stay at the cottage already.” Aidan replied. “So I will be staying in the guest house for now until I get on my feet.”
“That’s really good!” Kirsten fixed them some tea, trying to find a seat for them to take in the semi-busy cafe. “Aidan, I was wondering now that you are down here in Stone Creek. I was wondering if you wanted to turn over a new leaf and tell everyone about your sexuality?”
Aidan’s face dropped. “Kirsten about that, I don’t think it’s a good idea.”
“You’re allowed to be happy Aidan and proud of who you are.”
“It’s just that. You don’t exactly know who I am Kirsten. Yes I had a relationship with a guy and I was in love with him. But at the same time Kirsten, I had a child with a woman.” Aidan dropped his head. “When she was born I didn’t know what to do.”
Kirsten’s eyes widened as she listened to her cousin talk. “Where is she?”
“Living with her mother back in Paris. She doesn’t want me to see her after my father tried to pay her off. It’s not that I am afraid that I’m attracted to guys as well as women. It’s that I’m afraid that everyone is going to label me before I even know who I am.”
“So what do you want to do?”
Aidan smiled. “I want to be the new assistant to your husband at the Lakeside Inn.”
“Alright.” Kirsten smiled, giving her cousin another hug.

Scene Nine:
1525 Mauve Ln., Stone Creek. “Willow Glen Manor”
Jared & Kelly’s Home.
Natalie Marlowe didn’t know what she was going to say to her father, but she needed to say something. After she heard the message about him stepping down from the campaign she couldn’t think right. All she was worried about was her scars. But now that her mind was clear, everything was certain.
Her father couldn’t just back down from his life.
Pulling up to her parent’s home, she stopped. The two of them were at the window, fighting about something. Although it hurt her that they were in pain, she knew the fight was probably all because of her mother. The woman was probably angry about Jared’s decision.
Her mother slapped her father and Natalie jumped out of her car and raced to the house. The door was unlocked which made things easier for her. “What the hell is going on here?” She screamed, her face contorted trying to figure out the meaning to their rage.
“Oh Natalie!” Kelly whined, walking towards her daughter.
But Natalie stepped back. “I saw you slap daddy.”
Kelly turned away from her daughter and looked at Jared. “Well then why don’t you tell her why!”
“Kelly that’s enough!”
“No!” The woman shouted. She tried to regain her composure. Natalie watched as her mother’s rage was being fought off by her common sense. Kelly folded her arms and sniffled. “I will not just be silenced. I’ve done that for my entire life! I’ve been your little pet since we got married and you started your political campaign!”
“You knew what you were getting into when you married me!”
She shook her head. “I didn’t know that I was going to have to let all my dreams fall apart.”
“What are the two of you talking about?” Natalie huffed, her hand covered her mouth as she found the two of them broken in front of her. “Why are you dropping out of the race daddy? Why can’t you just fight the scandal with Ian? Because we can do it.”
Natalie watched her mother step behind the couch in the living room, pacing back and forth. “That’s not the only thing your father is quitting.”
“Daddy?”
Jared licked his lips and looked at both women. “I’m leaving Stone Creek for a little while Natalie. When I step down as Mayor all of my business opportunities here will have dried up and I need something new. I’m leaving town tonight.”
“Were you going to tell me?”
“No!” Kelly scoffed.
Natalie ignored her mother and stepped up to her father. “Daddy, were you going to tell me that you were leaving town tonight?”
He looked away and caught Kelly’s glare. “I was leaving your mother in town so that you had someone to relate to and lean on. Natalie this isn’t easy for me. But I have to go and find a better job out there so that this family can stay together.”
She sighed, she knew there was no way to change his mind. Natalie figured her mother had something to do with her father leaving town. They must have been fighting about money and her mother’s boutique. This made her feel bad about being selfish about her burns.

Scene Ten:
2634 W. Parker St., Stone Creek. Callahan Condos #15
Marina, Cassie & Lucian’s Condo.
“I just don’t understand why she decided to push-up the deadline.” Cassie complained as she removed her reading glasses and looked at Mac Kern who was leaning against the counter and snacking on the cookies she had made for him as a thank you.
Photobucket
He smirked. “Because she wants to see how you guys deal under pressure?”
“How would you know?”
“I already took that course.” He spoke, chewing on the cookies. “By the way these cookies are so good. How did you learn to bake them like this?”
Cassie placed her glasses on the table and remembered when she first moved into the apartment with Marina. “Marina and I were doing horribly when we moved in. It seemed like we couldn’t get a break after every corner we turned so we started baking.”
“You haven’t stopped since?”
She shook her head with a smile. “After everything that has happened it felt good to make a batch of cookies for you. Especially helping me put Lucian down for his nap. I’m almost done with this essay thanks to you! I didn’t think I would be able to get through today.”
“Hey, you’re a good mother.”
“Sometimes I think that I get Lucian into these situations that we won’t be able to get ourselves out of.” She stepped up to the counter and grabbed a cookie for herself; breaking it in half and taking one into her mouth. “When everything happened with Catalina holding me hostage at gun point-”
“That wasn’t her fault.” Mac said defensively.
Cassie looked at him dumb-founded. “Mac, Catalina was responsible for her own actions. She had a gun to my face and I don’t think you understand how drastic the situation was.”
“Her sister had just died Cassie.” Mac spoke, his tone softened. “Isobel was the only thing that mattered to Catalina and after Audrey forced her to do business. Look Cassie, maybe this was a bad idea. I’m glad I could help you get Lucian to sleep while you finished your essay, but maybe I should leave.”
“I didn’t mean to upset you.” She admitted.
He nodded. “That’s okay. Maybe we should just keep this simple. I don’t think we can be friends, I hope you understand.”
“No!” Cassie demanded. “No. Mac, you have been one of my closest friends in a long time. I am willing to let things go if you are still my friend. I can’t lose you and your support.”

Scene Eleven:
980 Cutler St., Stone Creek. Faustino Cottages #7
Charlie, Kirsten & Megan’s Cottage.
Placing her keys on the counter, Kirsten Sutton, couldn’t help but smile when she smelled Charlie making a late night dinner. After locking up the Cafe she felt the need to go to the nearest drive-thru but fought her urges and made it home.
“Oh Charlie, how did you know I needed this?” Kirsten asked, stepping into the kitchen to find her mother making food. “Oh, Helen? What--where’s my husband and why are you here this late at night?”
Helen Schmidt turned to look at Kirsten. “I’m your mother.”
“Well I know that.” Kirsten spoke, she looked around the place for any hidden cameras or something that was tampered with. “It’s just really late and I thought Charlie would be home by now. Is he home?”
“No.” She replied. “He had a couple of things that he needed to take care of at the Inn so he asked if I could stay and take care of Megan when she got out of school. That little girl is growing up so fast! She reminds me a lot of you when you were younger.”
“What are you doing?”
Helen sighed. “I’m getting to know my granddaughter.”
Kirsten tried to let it sink in, taking a place at the kitchen table. “Why now? I mean you’ve had so much time to try to get to know her, but why now? You weren’t even there when she was born. I had to do it all alone.”
“You had your father and that wife of his.” Helen snarled, she turned the stove off because she didn’t want to burn the soup she was making. Then she turned to Kirsten. “I know I’ve made mistakes in your life Kirsten, but I want to make everything right again.”
“How can I trust you?”
Helen shrugged. “Well I mean you can just trust me, that would probably be the easiest way to go about it. But your like your father and you think with that protective mindset. It’ll get you in trouble one of these days, just you wait and see.”
“I thought you were trying to win my trust again?” Kirsten smirked.
“I want to be here for Megan. There was so much that I missed out on and I want to show you that I can be a good grandmother, lord knows I was a horrible mother. I can’t even try to compete against Caitlyn Thurlow for that prize. But I still have a chance with Megan.”
“You are the worst mother I’ve ever met.”
Helen frowned. “Can we stop kicking the dying horse?”
“Fine. You can be there for Megan as much as possible, okay?” Kirsten said, she walked up to her mother and gave her a hug. “Helen, but the moment you screw this up there is no turning back you hear me? I can’t allow you to steal money from her or ruin her future.”
“I will do my best.” Helen scoffed. “Now can you fix this soup? I don’t think I added any seasoning to it all I taste is burnt soup. Maybe I should take a baking class?”
Kirsten sighed. “I think you should just focus on being a good example for Megan. That might help a little.”

Scene Twelve:
Above Alice’s Haven Cafe.
Adrian’s Apartment
He made sure that he didn’t wake Gail once he got home. Adrian Stone had spent the majority of the day at the shop so he decided he needed a nice warm shower before lying next to the mother of his child. A smile appeared on his face everytime he thought of her as that.
She was the woman he would spend the rest of his life with and he was happy about that.
Turning the water on and stripping off his clothes, Adrian jumped in the shower and thought back to when they were younger and they said they would be together forever. Although they broke-up for a couple of months, he felt that so far they’ve held onto that dream.
Then he felt a pair of arms grasp his waist. Turning around he saw Gail smiling back at him. “I thought I’d join you.” She spoke. Her naked body stepping into the shower. Facing each other, she kissed him passionately. “I know that everything we’ve been through has taking a toll on us.”
“I don’t care about that.” Adrian admitted, he placed his hand son her growing belly. “This is the most beautiful thing that could happen to us. I am completely in love with you Gail and nothing can change that, alright? I’ve been thinking, this living situation between us, I wouldn’t mind if we got our own place soon.”
“Really?” Her eyes lit up. “There’s something that I wanted to tell you but I didn’t know how to. I went to see Greta today and we looked at houses while you were at work.”
His face dropped. “You did what?”
“I couldn’t contain myself Adrian, I just needed to see what was out there. I found this amazing home but Greta told me that it would be off the market soon so I took drastic measures and called my father so that we could get the house for ourselves.”
“Gail, please tell me you didn’t ask your father for the money.”
Gail nodded her head. “It’s just a loan, I told him we would pay him back.”
It was at that moment that Adrian knew things would change for them once again. “We can’t do this, we can’t borrow money from your father. Do you not remember us stealing money from him to leave town? I’m sure David is having a field day with this one Gail.”
“I did it for us.”
“Just wait until Helen finds out! They hated me before, now they are going to think that I can’t support you and that we need them to live our lives!” Although he didn’t want to be mad at Gail, he couldn’t find any alternatives. So instead of doing something he’d regret, Adrian jumped out of the shower and grabbed a towel.
“Where are you going?” She asked.
“To bed.” Adrian replied, leaving his girlfriend alone to think about what she had done.
