History
The newest Mayor of Stone Creek, Jared Marlowe has been a standing figure in town since he moved his wife and youngest daughter to town. While spending most of his time around town attending fundraising events and scheduling conferences, Jared still finds time to be with his family. In the early 80’s he had an affair with Cecily Kiefer and this union produced a son, but he paid Cecily off and told her to leave town.
In 2011, his youngest daughter Natalie was the only other person who knew of his affair and had spent the last couple years in turmoil over her father’s character. When Natalie was induced into a coma Jared and his wife Kelly spent many nights by her side. Natalie recovered, but Jared didn’t have much time with his family as another blow hit the family.
During his campaign to become the Mayor of Stone Creek once again, Patrick Sutton enlisted in the help of Ryan Bauer to con Marina Thurlow into publishing the truth about Jared’s past. He insisted on not getting to know his son Ian Kiefer and realizing that he wouldn’t win the election Jared dropped out and headed out of town to repair his reputation.
He left his wife, Kelly and their daughter Natalie behind.
