History
Seth Keeler grew up in Stone Creek, the product of a one-night stand. Although he didn’t have much friends, he always was able to rely on his older half-sister, Kimberly to give him advice. Because of his mother’s many affairs, Seth was often taunted and belittled around school and although he knew James Thurlow and his friends, he was never in their social group of friends. When Kimberly went to live with the Sutton’s, Seth began to feel all alone.

In high school, he took a job as a waiter at Gladys’ Bistro and met an older woman named Kristina Jacobs that he immediately became enamored with her. She would come into the restaurant alone and request Seth as her waiter every time. Eventually Seth got the courage to ask her out, but Kristina wanted to do more than just go out on a date. He began seeing Kristina for sex everyday after work. Seth also began sleeping with different women, even taking money and gifts from them with their insistence. Before Seth knew it he was becoming known amongst lonely married women in Stone Creek. In 1983, Kristina stopped sleeping with him and went back to her husband, admitting she was pregnant and wanted to start a real life with the man she married.

He started school and enrolled himself into photography classes and when he was unable to afford the perfect camera, Kristina would later slip him the money with no strings attached. He kept in touch with his sister and was able to secure a job at the Stone Creek Ledger as a photographer because of her newfound connections. Seth would later move up to editor of the Ledger. In 1988, Seth was struck with a huge blow; Kristina Jacobs had committed suicide, he covered her obituary and secretly said his goodbyes to the first woman he loved.

photo Sethv1.pngPeter Sutton bought the Stone Creek Ledger and instilled it to Seth Keeler. The man asked only that Seth keep all negative news stories about his family out of the paper, and because his sister was now a Sutton, Seth agreed. Seth declared that he would stay true to the people of Stone Creek. Patrick Sutton made it his mission to boss Seth around and threaten him whenever possible after he took Sutton Enterprises from Peter.

Start of the Series...

In late 2011 he went on a couple of dates with Diem Joplin and when it seemed that things were going somewhere, Diem admitted she couldn’t date Seth because he was her daughter’s boss. They tried to keep their affections for one another separate until Leia found out in mid 2012 and set-up a candle-lit dinner outside for the two of them. After finally admitting they had feelings for one another and with Leia’s approval, they began dating.

Seth offered Marina Thurlow a promotion after being impressed with an article about Jared Marlowe, but she declined to work on her relationship with Ian. So Seth brought in someone from Stone Creek’s past; Leia Joplin. She would be the new Editorial Editor and when Marina came back asking for the promotion, Seth cast them both as Co-Editors, in which, started a mini feud. He would spend a lot of 2012 in the middle of their feuds and reassured both women that they were talented and he hired them both for a reason.

His sister arrived back in Stone Creek in 2013, much to his surprise.
