History
Leia doesn’t take crap from anybody and will do everything she needs to cover a story. When Marina turned down the promotion to have her own writing staff, Leia took the opportunity to prove she deserved the task. Moving back to Stone Creek wasn’t a huge problem for the young divorcee as she took it upon herself to create a whole new life and to bond with her mother, Diem.
After her arrival in Stone Creek, Leia told her mother about the visit she had with her father, William Maverick. This caused a rift between the two women when Leia defended that her father had changed. Diem couldn’t believe that he would change for anybody.
Seth Keeler later revealed that he wanted to appoint both Leia and Marina as Co-Editors of their writing staff. Although Marina was clearly upset, Leia seemed indifferent.
