History
For the last ten years Desiree Roberts has been Gail Schmidt’s best friend and confidant. When Gail left Adrian Stone last year, “Dizzy” was the only person who knew her whereabouts. Strong and willful, Dizzy Roberts, had made one hell of a nurse thus far with excellent bedside manner and a knack for keeping patients calm. With this intention she came to aide her friend Gail through her pregnancy in Stone Creek.
Dizzy and Adrian Stone bumped heads as soon as she came to Stone Creek. When Adrian learned that Gail had a miscarriage and that Dizzy was the only one who knew about both the pregnancy and the miscarriage, he discarded his friendship with Dizzy. But when it was later revealed that she was their OB/GYN Adrian held his reservations about her qualifications.
After Helen Schmidt kept badgering Dizzy about staying with the Schmidt’s, Dizzy searched for a new place to stay. Even though David told Dizzy she could stay, Dizzy found a place rooming with Taylor Kern who she had thought was a woman. Their flirtation was cut short when Taylor revealed that he was gay.
Gail fainted at the Halloween Party thrown by Kirsten Thurlow. It was Dizzy who revealed that her best friend was suffering from Gestational Diabetes and although rare, it could affect the baby’s health. She coached both of her friends in the Diabetes and along the way she started winning over Adrian. Gail went into labor at the New Years Eve Ball, giving birth to a premature Violet Monica Stone.
In late 2011, Dizzy found a friendship in Taylor’s younger brother, Mac. When he admitted to not being able to get over Cassie Lakhani she tried to help him numerous times to get her back. But after every attempt blew-up in their faces, Dizzy decided to help Mac get over Cassie instead.
