History
Isobel Annalise Cortez moved to Stone Creek in 2009 upon her sister’s insistence and although she would have rather stayed in East Los Angeles with her boyfriend, Juan Carlos, Isobel left the city with her only other living family member. Her loyalty towards Catalina has been her main focus.
Start of the Series...
In 2010 after Frank Nelson’s previous secretary, Lucy Hahn, was transferred to the Sunset Valley Division Deborah Nelson hired Isobel as a test to see if her husband would slip-up and start sleeping with the younger woman. As the months past, Deborah began to feel her plan backfire on her as she was ridden with worry. But Isobel had no interest in Frank as her interest still lay with her ex. boyfriend, Juan Carlos.
After a failed attempt to find her bearings in Stone Creek, the seductive and vivacious Isobel found herself having sex with Mac Kern in his car. Although the man tried to convince her to stay in Stone Creek, she denied the offer and tried opening his eyes to a bigger world. However that winter night in 2011 would be her last as Mac asked her to share a dance with him at a bar, Penelope Wilkinson’s car crashed through the window, putting Isobel and a couple others in danger.
She spent the next couple days in ICU where she fought for her life. Isobel later passed away with her sister by her side, the second and last victim of the car accident.
